Galway Contintental Christmas Market
So my five weekends of hanging out behind my Irish gift shop and chatting to lots of great new customers in Eyre Square drew to a close last night.
We were all very spoilt by the glorious weather (in Galway terms) for the first three weekends of the market. At times during the last two, it felt more like we were partaking in the Volvo Ocean Race. Giselle, my neighbour in the Craft Village, even had her van swept away while it was parked in Salthill. High drama stories by the coffee stall that weekend!.
Despite the slagging from the other traders about my excel spreadsheet rota, I loved the company from all my little helpers. Thanks so much to everyone who helped me out (you know who you are!).
After all the lovely feedback I received in Galway, I am really looking forward to getting my products stocked in more Irish shops around the country in the New Year. Your support in 2013 has been great and I hope you all have a smashing Christmas.
Roll on some more hot rums and market fun in Eyre Square next December!.
