It’s the most important day of the year for all the Irish Mammies out there and they deserve some spoiling. My mother’s favourite phrase ‘everything in moderation’ is not voiced quite as frequently in the lead up to the 30th March. My favourite phrase is ‘everything in moderation, including moderation’, but no doubt I am currently morphing into my mother and will become a younger but more sensible version of her before long.
